Metal Gear Solid 4: Gun of the Patriots
We found out much more than intisipated at The TGS convention. The trailer especially, we all thought snake would be on top form not some old guy on deaths door. Here's what we know so far about the Game.
The Story
The trailer didnt tell or explain alotbut what we can gather it will be set in a urban style battlefield. You may think that Hideos moving away from the whole 'Stealth' concept but he esures that it will still be a stealth game but with some added 'Zang'. We also know from the trailer that Snake will be up against all sorts of enemies like "Next generation special Forces" - The patriots new army? and new types of Metal Gear For example this:
 This New type of Metal Gear is a cross between Rex and Ray. Rex's top body and Rays legs. Metal Gears legs are supposed to be organic so they will spew out blood is shot at.
The GamePlay
The New playstation 3 allows a vast amount of gameplay compared to the Playstation 2 so expect the best from the new game. GamePlay wise the game has all new Hi-tech quipment and weaponry For Example 'THE SNAKE EYE' this is situated on Snakes left eye it allows him to view the solitron radar and probably other features like IR and NV. The game is in real-time so this means that you'll be able to here them breath etc. Also Hideo mentionthat there will be more than 100 types of weapons combos with CQC.
When encountering Enemies they wont just come after you like drones they have they're own AI so For Example you could annoy or scare the enemiesby doing different stunts.
 
Otacon has made this small Metal Gear which has a screen on that Otacon can see everything no doubt you'll be able to use this in the game.
I have found out that Solid Snake will not die in Metal Gear Solid 4 just for some closure but that is Snake in those pictures.
